Clifford Brooks is a poet, teacher, and freelance writer who lives in North Georgia. As a restless traveler by heart, who feels at one with nature, he is happy to have the chance to write concerning his wandering. Since his book The Draw of Broken Eyes & Whirling Metaphysics released in 2013, Brooks has seen more than expected of the American South. Teaching in Adult Education through Chattahoochee Tech provides a nest and a firm leg to stand on while his wings take him farther from home. In late 2015/early 2016, this Pulitzer-Prize nominated author is scheduled to release two books. They include a collection called Athena Departs, and a collaboration which includes his epic, The Salvation of Cowboy Blue Crawford.
