Definition: Of relating to purification or purgation through a conscious or systematic act of wandering.

Example: The whole series of Forrest Gump’s personal journeys in the film is a circle of wanderlustrating acts of American innocence, as though in a penance for the simple idealism of the American dream. In other words, Gump, the idealistic wanderer, pays the price for American exceptionalism through his life’s losses, which he turns to his account.
