Definition: A scalable or surmountable hill, mountain, or elevated region.

Example: As Hanson and Garrad, the two retired officers of the British army, planned their cartographical conquest over Ffynnon Garw, the local Welsh folk began raising their beloved mound from a surmountainous “hill” to a peak that that scaled well over the stipulated 1000 ft., so as to be able to see it on His Majesty’s Ordnance maps as a mountain.
