Definition: A certain kind of tourist–or a group of tourists–whose widespread travels lead to local damages in the neighborhood of a tourist site; also relating to a parasitic tourist.

Example: “The kinds of Lisa and Jamie,” she went on exasperatedly, “who can’t afford Paris and take a trip to Pandora instead, are nothing better than globetrottermites feeding off the impoverished snapshots posted on their timelines.”
