Definition: A class of people that vacillates or is fickle about issues that they otherwise seem to feel rather earnestly about.

Example: The protesters who had walked miles to hold a candlelight vigil for the murdered activist, the very next year during another similar incident had conveniently turned into the flitterati, some gravitating to the ruling party, and some disillusioned into claiming capitalism as the only desideratum.
