In Prague, near the Charles Bridge, a wall unofficially called “John Lennon Wall” came into existence after John Lennon’s assassination in 1980. Despite after repeated attempts to whitewash the wall, graffiti keeps reappearing on the wall, depicting Beatles lyrics and other Lennon-related scrawling.
Meanwhile, last year, in a completely unrelated episode, a 48-year old man hid in a Prague restaurant, stayed there overnight, and feasted on six baked geese (each 5 kgs.), three ducks, a 4-litre jar of pickles, 6 kgs. of goose fat and liver, poppy seeds and butter, causing damage of about 20,000 Czech crowns to the restaurant.
