I have seen these streets before,
Sun warmed earth and
The smell of cooking meat in the air;
It is like stepping
Into a lukewarm bath
Scented with flowers and sweat,
Grime from my body washed away
By the onslaught of sounds;
Is this home?
The harshness of the crows
And the calls of the children say yes,
Yet my heart
Is unsure.
